Celebration Day
Today Emma started First Grade. She was so excited she could hardly sleep last night. She really likes school and, for some reason, is fairly popular. Her teacher is Mari (Gallagher) Bender, who grew up about 2 blocks from us in Anaconda. Small world....

Hope Emma had a wonderful 1st day of school...how I remember standing in front of the bush at 1002 for my picture on that day too.

Wow, you already know Emma is popular and when you posted she had been at school less than an hour! Hope she doesn't follow in her father's footsteps and ....well,you know....that whole chair in the hall incident!
